Let’s come back to Ghana.
Charlse Nii Armah popularly known as Shatta Wale has applauded the management of Kotoka International Airport for aiding him to secretly travel to America to shoot the ‘Already’ music video with Beyoncé.
The video was part of the Grammy Award winner’s ‘Black Is King’ visual album made up of songs from the ‘Lion King; The Gift’ album.
According to Shatta Wale, he was taken through a VVIP process where he remained incognito until he boarded his flight.
“The time the call came in, it was so impromptu so I had to go alone. I had already contacted my team in the States and they were down for me [SIC],” he said on Onua FM.
The Black is King visual album was released last Friday on Disney Plus.
Ghanaians are really proud of Shatta Wale for putting Ghana on the world map. This has made him won the heart of followers of other celeb worldwide.
Meanwhile, the president of Ghana Nana Addo-Danqwah Akuffo Addo congratulated for taking Ghana to the highest level in a tweet he made. “ shatta you do all #KingAlready #BlackisKing” this was made on his official tweeter page which got all Ghanaians talking. Apparently, this is not the first time the president has congratulated the danehall artiste. He once invited him to the Flagstaff house sometime ago. One can say Shatta is the President’s favorite.
